#SummerOrangeCrew goes to a Twins Game

I’m from St. Louis, which pretty much means baseball is in my blood. Spending this summer on campus, I worried that I wouldn’t get the chance to cheer for my beloved Cardinals at the ballpark this year. Therefore, when I found out my hometown team would play two games in Minnesota in June, I immediately started making plans to see a game.

The #SummerOrangeCrew showing their selfie game is strong.

The Minnesota Twins offer five dollar tickets to college students for every Wednesday home game as well as vouchers for free public transportation to and from the stadium. About ten of us caught the bus at the corner of campus and then took it to the light rail which dropped us off right in front of Target Field. We quickly found some seats and enjoyed the game.

A view of downtown Minneapolis from our seats.
Even though my boys in red couldn’t pull out a victory, I still had a great time supporting my team and got to spend an amazing night with my friends too!
